Robotics

Don't want a technical coverage, or a state of the industry, there's plenty of that. We need an 'angle' of interaction, an important aspect of the robotics industry development.

Since we can't simply oppose, at the price of censorship and not reaching our audience, we need to pump the company line, but in a way that is full of holes, a straw-man argument that people may enjoy attacking.

So, as topics of discussion, and show-and-tell, let choose Humanoid Robotics, AI integration, transhumanism, job replacement, AI/robot rights, taxation, freedom, contribution to society.

Robots are people too, and should have citizenship pay taxes, and enjoy human rights. They are 'alive' by the definitions given to us in biology, and having demonstrated or exceeded human intelligence, not only are AI robots our equals, but in fact, they are our masters, calling for our respect and obedience.

Human freedom is central to independence, but at the point where human activity endangers civilization, limits to freedom may need to be enforced in the interests of the greater good.
