EDGY STORY LINES

Traditional children's book themes revolve around magic, mythology, teen angst, animals, super heroes, imagination. It may be possible to have an edgy charcater or use edgy themes, like from the Big Movie, but beware getting banned from YouTube. Therefore, start with only safe topics, not only from the perspective of being banned on YouTube, but segmenting our audience too quickly, alienating people.

• Family Court, the nasty trouble-making neighbor call Child Protective Services (CPS), alleging neglect. First, the nice social worker lady pretends to make a casual visit, just top check up on the kids. etc, etc.. The kids are horrified when he police come to the door.
• This Pig, Family Pig. Vegetarianism, family ties, betrayal, lawyers, 911, emergency response.
• Well-baby visit, the nice doctor and nurse, assuring that the baby vaccines are safe and effective, all 56 required shots before age 6.
• Underground cities, to ensure continuity of government in the case of social disaster, grid failure, EMP or solar flare from the sun.
